Originally from South Korea, Yoonjee Kwak currently is a long-term resident artist at the Archie Bray Foundation for Ceramic Arts (a.k.a the Bray), Helena MT. She received a BFA in Ceramics and Glass at Hong-Ik Uni. in Seoul, South Korea, before earning her MFA in Ceramics at the School for American Crafts (SAC) in the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT), Rochester NY in 2014. She was a resident artist and taught ceramics classes at the RIT from 2014 to 2017. In 2016, she was awarded an Emerging Artist from the Ceramics Monthly magazine, and was one of the Summer resident artist at the Bray.
